In March 2007, the Company was re-organized to comprise the three business sectors of: logistics processing, international cargo and domestic air transport, becoming the main logistics services provider of the SG Holdings Group.
Through the globalization of economies, the distances between production bases, retailers and consumers are becoming smaller and smaller, which makes the need for logistics services all the more important. At SGL, in order to meet the needs of our clients, we can offer tailor-made solutions, from conventional warehousing through to large scale comprehensive logistics operations, thus providing a “one-stop shop” for all logistics requirements.
Additionally, we have established 19 overseas branches, focussing on China and the ASEAN Region, providing various services, from warehousing and logistics processing to international freight forwarding and international courier services, in order to meet the demands of our clients.
At present, a major focus of the company is to improve operational efficiency, by focussing on long-term operating resources as a core business. An important factor for corporate management is to increase operational efficiency through reforming logistics by increasing sales opportunities and reducing logistical costs.
We comprehensively undertake logistics operations on behalf of our clients, whilst offering the most suitable concepts and solutions, with an eye on the environmental impact, to streamline logistics in order to improve overall results.
